CV Career Coaching
Crafting an impressive CV for TV and media jobs can be challenging, and it's understandable if you're feeling overwhelmed. Job hunting can be stressful, and it's not always easy to differentiate yourself from other job seekers. Writing a quality resume requires a lot of time and effort, and it can be tough to understand the best structure, identify your employability job skills and qualities, fill in application forms, or choose a career path.
If you're a creative professional struggling with any of these issues, I'm here to help. As a career coach, I have extensive experience working with clients from the creative industries at various stages of their careers. I combine my career guidance expertise with my entertainment industry knowledge to provide specialized career guidance. This enables me to look at the world of work from both an individual and organizational perspective, helping you to understand what employers are looking for in their employees.​
What will the Session Entail?

A 75-minute 1-2-1 Zoom coaching session to build your self-awareness and fully explore what you can offer the world of work. Suppose you have a particular job role in mind, established on the discovery call. In that case, the session will also help you ensure you have all the skills and qualities needed to perform the work role and identify any training gaps.

You will achieve an increased sense of self-awareness, which will also help you with clarity, targeting your CV before starting your job search, completing application forms and answering questions at the job interview stage.​​

Once you've created a new CV, I'll spend 30 minutes reviewing it, and I will also scan your CV and include the findings to help you optimize and improve your chances of being noticed by potential employers.

The 30-minute review needs to occur within 30 days of your 1-2-1 session. Doing so ensures that you work on making those changes and are motivated toward achieving your career coaching goals.​

How do I book a coaching session?All sessions can be booked and paid for online using the live online booking facility. To book an initial consultation or session, please click here.

What's Your Cancellation Policy?Please ensure that you carefully read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy available at the checkout before making any bookings, which contain details of the cancellation policy. All sessions can be rescheduled or refunded 48 hours before the session start time. No refunds are available for sessions cancelled 24 to 48 hours before the session start time. However, the session can be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. Sessions cancelled 24 hours or less before the session start time cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Only one FREE discovery call per individual.

Do I have to pay in advance?Yes, all sessions must be paid for in advance at the time of booking to secure the session. You will be emailed a copy of your booking, and the Terms and Conditions, along with your meeting Zoom link.

What payment methods do you accept?You have the choice at checkout of paying by credit/debit card, PayPal or Klarna, subject to terms and conditions.

How do I book my 20-minute free discovery Zoom call, and what's involved?The 20-minute discovery call can be booked online here. The call is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have and check that we are an excellent coaching/mentoring match. Please note that you will not be offered another free consultation if you fail to attend the free consultation or let me know that you are not attending/wish to cancel.

Are my sessions kept confidential?Yes, all sessions are kept confidential unless I believe you are at risk of harm to yourself or others, or I am required to disclose any details by Law. I take notes during the sessions, but these will be for my use only to track your progress and are kept in a secure location.

What happens if I turn up late to a session?It is essential that you arrive on time for all sessions. If you happen to be late, you will receive only the remaining time left for that session. Unfortunately, I cannot give you any extra time due to the next scheduled client.

Where does the coaching take place?Coaching takes place online via Zoom or Teams, or by phone. The type of coaching you prefer can be chosen at the initial consultation or at the time of booking. Please also see further details here.

How do I know if coaching is for me?Coaching is for anyone feeling unfulfilled or needing help and guidance to reach their full potential. The key, with any reason is that you must be willing and ready to take action and implement the changes. If you are prepared to put in the work and want to achieve your full potential, now is the perfect time for coaching. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health disorders. The client’s responsibility is to manage their own mental health, including obtaining necessary exams and ongoing professional support as needed. Coaching should supplement such a support system and not act as a replacement for it.
